Radio X – Re-Brand (Formerly Xfm)
The radio brand XFM needed a complete overhaul. The brief called for a modernisation and a more masculine tone, taking into consideration any equity and intrinsic qualities the old brand may have.
Retaining the ‘kicker’ in the X, the new logo was informed by the graphic equaliser pattern – synonymous in music environments. The X green was retained in essence, though a different hue was developed as a modern gesture. The guidelines allow the logo to be integrated with images and a series of crossed backgrounds give the identity flexibility and ammunition for roll-out of collateral.
Radio X was born with an incredible new line-up featuring Chris Moyles, Vernon Kay, Johnny Vaughan and Ricky Wilson.
