Our idea took the animals from the existing global creative and used them in a new way. Our objective was to interrupt the shopper journey and grab the customer’s attention, so they realised a better alternative existed to what they currently used. Seresto has a 7-8 month duration of protection – its strongest USP. We identified the fact that a journey to Mars from Earth also takes 7-8 months, and hence our Mars Campaign was born. We created a product story that used our journey to Mars as an innovative way of conveying all of the key benefits of Seresto, playing into its innovative hi-tech heritage.

IMPACT

We created an engaging OLV, using the sci-fi genre and activated the campaign in retail via POS and digitally across social media & display advertising, as well as in the consumer press.
