Introducing our Honey & Lemon cocktail – crafted with MBC Honey Bee Gin, infused with honey straight from Robin’s hives. Just like our campaigns, it’s masterfully blended with a balance of bold flavour, bright zest and a little creative magic from the MBC team.

Honey Bee and Lemon Cocktail

Ingredients

For the honey syrup (makes 1 cup, enough for 8 cocktails)

5 tablespoons of honey

20ml cup hot water

For the cocktail

60ml  gin

30ml  honey syrup

20ml fresh lemon juice

Ice

Lavender bitters (optional)

Lemon peel, for garnish

Method

Make the honey syrup:

Combine the honey and hot water, stir until incorporated.

Make the drink:

Add the gin, 30ml of the honey syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake for about 30 seconds, or until a frost forms on the shaker. Put a single large ice cube into a cocktail or old fashioned glass. Strain drink into a glass and garnish with lemon peel.
